Lagos came alive as it played host to several musicians from all over the continent of Africa. The All Africa Music Awards was in town and took place at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki.
First, the woman to present the award wasn’t properly informed as she kept calling out the Late Fela to come receive his award. The audience was thrown into a huge laugh.
While many musicians found their way comfortably to the stage, Yeni Kuti, daughter of Afrobeat Legend Fela Kuti didn’t have it all perfect.
Yeni Kuti made her way to the front to receive the award on behalf of her late father but tripped while making her way up…
She was able to pick herself up immediately. In all, it doesn’t matter how many times you fall, but how fast you are able to pick yourself right back up.
